Tree Felling

A straight fell from the base where there is space for it.

Given the room, felling from the base is the quickest and safest way to take a tree down. We check the lean, the wind and everything within two tree lengths, set the hinge and put it where we want it.

Once it is down we cut to whatever suits you: cordwood for the log store, rings left on site, or the whole lot chipped and taken away.
